V&A Visit

Visiting the V&A Museum today was supposed to help me gain an insight and have designs on what my ideal utopia would consist of. At this point of my project I am more concerned on the visuals and settings of my ideology of utopia. One section of the gallery that caught my attention was in Room 50a: The Renaissance City 1350–1600. It consists of large-scale works, once part of impressive Renaissance buildings which are displayed in the context of the cityscape. Then the use of the colour white colour gives the touch of peace and purity. Talking in terms of utopia this would be the ideal colour to represent my Utopia.

Im not too sure yet what sort of society my Utopia will consist of at this point, c'mon there is quite a lot to consider to create my ideal Utopia, it could have an Egyptian theme, my own Greek Olympus or maybe a replica of how our world looks like today. However I do favour the idea of objects levitating in my world. Maybe just not objects levitating but maybe the actual city itself connected to other floating cities in my world. I guess the connection to each city will give a sense of unity and abolishing the idea of disconnection.
